I want to take this opportunity to sincerely thank Career Wise and South32 for being a pillar of support during one of the most critical points in my academic journey.

The bursary came when I was about to deregister due to financial burden and emotional stress, in the beginning of my final year. I couldn’t believe it when I received a call from Career Wise asking whether I had funding. That moment changed everything. I felt like a fresh first-year student again, full of hope and determination. From that day on, I made a promise to myself that I would give my best and make this opportunity count.

I could write a book about all the good things the bursary has done for me. My gratitude will never be enough. Today, I stand proud as a qualified Chemical Engineer, and I can say with confidence: thank you for saving my career.

I would also like to say a special thank you to sisi Zama and bhuti Luyanda for the support you both gave me. You have always been nothing but kind, encouraging, and supportive throughout this journey-and I truly appreciate that. 🙏
