Zipho Majova
Zipho is a Public Policy Honours graduate from the University of Cape Town that is passionate about research, education and communications. She currently works as a Project and Tender Analyst in one of the largest education and publishing companies in the world.
Beyond her day-to-day work, she has led focus groups and some of her notable achievements include moderating the 2019 national dialogue convened by Former Public Protector, Prof. Thuli Madonsela titled, “Towards a Socially Just and Sustainable Economy: Deepening the Dialogue”. In 2020, she was a moderator for EduTech Africa under the theme “Tech for Special Education needs & Early Childhood Development”. In 2019, Ms Majova worked as a ghostwriter with Nobandile ‘Bandi’ Biko for her chapter in Time to Remember: Reflections Of women from the Black Consciousness Movement. She is a contributor to the Daily Maverick, a copywriter and has been invited to speak on various platforms including SAfm, Cape Talk, UCT Varsity News, Black Rose Factory and ABSA.
Ms Majova takes an active approach in getting her voice and ideas out there. She has done voice-over work for academic projects and has been invited for commentary and guest speaking on vast platforms including SAfm, Cape Talk, UCT Varsity News, Black Rose Factory and ABSA. She uses her critical thinking, ability to weave engaging stories and capacity for expressing opinions and observations to contribute to education, political and media discourse
