Paul Vuma


Paul joined Career Wise in 2006 after completing a BA Corporate Communication degree at the University of Johannesburg. He has extensive experience in starting-up, managing and advising clients on bursary management & administration across various sectors. He has previously managed the following bursary schemes: Mining Qualifications Authority Bursary (MQA) which at its peak funded 800 students in engineering-related disciplines per annum (achieving graduation rates above 70%), as well as  The Wholesale & Retail SETA Bursary (W&R SETA) which at its peak had 1000 students per annum, with a 85% graduation rate.

He is currently responsible for the following bursary and scholarship schemes: Anglo-American Coal, Anglo-American Coal Community, Anglo-American Corporate, Finance and Accounting Services SETA (FASSET), Komatsu Foundation Trust, Oxford University Press, Pioneer Foods Education & Community Trust & PPC Ltd.
