Employees and Dependents of Employees

These are bursaries awarded to employees who wish to further their studies with the aim of adding value to the company. Employees will need to get approval from their line managers as per the development plan they have. The dependents of employees are also awarded bursaries as per the HR policy within the company.

This is a partial bursary covering: tuition and textbooks only. Bursary is closed to the general public and student can only study part-time.
2 DSV Empowerment Trust Dependents of Employees Bursary Scheme Any field Student needs to meet minimum requirement as per University course they intend to study. This is a full bursary.
3 South 32 Employees Bursary Scheme Any field as approved by line manager and employee's development plan. Student needs to meet minimum requirement as per University course they intend to study. This is a partial bursary covering: tuition and textbooks only. Bursary is closed to the general public and student can only study part-time.
4 South 32 Dependents of Employees Bursary Scheme Any field Student needs to meet minimum requirement as per University course they intend to study. This is a full bursary.
5 Barloworld of Dependents Employees Bursary Scheme Information Technology, Risk Management, Finance, Procurement, General Management and Marketing Student needs to meet minimum requirement as per University course they intend to study. This is a full bursary, however students can only study at: UJ, UP, TUT and Wits.
6 Mpact Dependents of Employees Bursary Scheme Any field Student needs to meet minimum requirement as per University course they intend to study. This is a full bursary, however the bursary is closed to the general public.
7 Tiger Brand Dependents of Employees Bursary Scheme (i.e. Thusani Trust) Any field Student needs to meet minimum requirement as per University course they intend to study. This is a partial bursary covering: tuition and textbooks only and the bursary is closed to the general public.
